District 5 of the Texas Nurses Association (TNA5) promotes excellence in nursing at the district level through leadership, advocacy and innovation. We strive to provide a supportive community and voice for all area nurses through opportunities, tools for excellence and networking.

The purpose of the District shall be to work for the improvement of health standards and the availability of health care services for all people, to foster high standards of nursing, to stimulate and promote the professional development of nurses, and to advance their economic and general welfare.
