The Texas Nurses Association (TNA) is a state-wide membership-based association of registered nurses. Founded in 1907, TNA is the oldest professional nursing association in Texas. Its members represent all segments of nursing practice, come from all practice settings, and share a common purpose - advancing excellence in nursing.

TNA District 5, the Capital of Texas Area chapter of the Texas Nurses Association, includes the following counties:
